E Mail Marketing Campaign

An e mail marketing campaign is composed to strategically set up a series of messages with a purpose to sell your product, service or opportunity.

Are you making money is your business right now? Most people struggle with being profitable in their business. But you don’t have to. All you need is a system that leads you into consistent cash flow.

Setting up several e mail marketing campaigns throughout the year, will help you in the ‘backend’ sales. Remember front end sales, are the products featured directly on your site or blog. Backend sales are sales that are made through your e mail marketing campaigns which are delivered through your autoresponder system.

If you do not have an autoresponder system set up, you cannot effectively utilize your site or blog, the way it’s intended to be used.

Here’s a refresher on our formula for success. It’s The Empowered Business Conversion Formula™:

Where Value should be presented approximately 80% of the time, Campaign should be presented 20% of the time.

How do you do this?

Take a look at your calendar for the next year. Assess your products, services and opportunities that you have chosen for your monetization model. This can include affiliate programs too (where you promote other people’s products and typically make a 50% commission).

Place a ‘holder’ spot for one week every three months on your calendar. Now review your products and determine which you will promote during those four one-week intervals during the year.

Your calendar may look like this:

  • February 7 – 14: Ebook promotion (your own ebook)
  • May 22 – 29: Tangible product (that can be shipped)
  • August 1 – 8: Online training course (one you developed or an affiliate product)
  • November 11 – 18: Seminar series via Webinar

There! Now you know what you are going to put into your e mail marketing campaign to bring in money!

The next step is to set up your campaigns with a series of messages. If you are going to keep your campaigns simple, you’ll be sending a campaign out over the course of 3 (minimum) or 7 days.

This means you will want to still lead with value in your campaign, getting your prospect’s attention. (This is where it’s SO important to understand the sales process, so you can intelligently present your solution and comfortably ask for the sale – Secrets To Selling will teach you this and more!).

Your emails must be inviting and be set up with a headline that entices your subscriber to open them. A great way to position yourself as an expert in your field, building credibility, is to teach via video.

So your first email might look something like this:

Headline: Beginner Golfer Lands a Hole In One!

Dear John,

Wouldn’t it be nice to know that there is a golf swing that helps you to drive your ball precisely to the hole on the fairway, upping your chances of getting that exciting few-times-in-a-lifetime hole in one?

I’ve been teaching my students a very simple way to use their golf driver and spank that golf ball off the tee so that it aims like a guided missile to the fairway.

You can start introducing your product/service/lessons and the benefits they can provide in your next email.

The next email can be released the very next day!

By the time you get to your fourth email, you’ll be asking them for the sale. Again, be sure you understand the sales elements of how to ask for the sale so you will have ultimate conversion rates.
